Cat’s Protection launches Cat Short Story Competition

News from Pet Club UK says that Cats Protection have launched a short story competition for all the wannabe cat-obsessed novelists out there.

According to the article, Cats Protection (which you’ll hear a bit more about when I get round to it)  want supporters to send in short stories of no more than 1,000 words that tell of cats – fictional and non-ficitional – with the winning entry receiving not only a laptop and a new pen, but the winners of all three categories receiving publication in The Cat magazine.

The competition is to be judged by Robert Rankin no less, so make them good.

While Cats Protection are not charging for entry, they do suggest that a donation of £5 be made. Entry is open until February and the entry form is open here (Adobe PDF Reader needed).
